Annie Leibovitz
I’m Annie Leibovitz.
For over fifty years I’ve photographed presidents, rock stars, artists, and friends, always searching for the quiet, unguarded moment when the mask drops. I began at Rolling Stone in the early ’70s, hit the road with the Stones, and never stopped looking.
My work is about truth, not perfection. One camera, available light, and real collaboration. I live in New York with my three daughters, still shooting, still believing every portrait tells a story.
